Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the initial meeting?

This introductory meeting can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour, and is normally held in a neutral location (such as a hotel lobby, a coffee shop, your home or wherever is convenient for you). During this meeting, highlights of your relationship and your vision of your wedding day will be discussed.

This meeting will help everyone to get to know each other better and me in creating a ceremony that is uniquely yours.

Do you have sample wedding vows and ceremonies?

I have several from elaborate to simple, from Christian to Spiritual. Copies will be forwarded via email after the initial meeting.

What kind of ceremonies do you perform?

I perform traditional and non-traditional, Spiritual and Christian ceremonies, civil weddings, commitment ceremonies, renewal of vows, non-denominational ceremonies, house blessings, and Oneness Blessings (or Deeksha).

Can we write our own vows?

Of course, and I can also help if needed.

Can the wedding ceremony be customized?

Absolutely. This is what makes your ceremony uniquely yours. During our initial meeting I will ask several questions that will help me to have a better understanding of your ceremony expectations and the type of wedding you’ve always dreamed of. Questions will cover how and where you and your fiancé met, what you love and respect about each other, your family values, and if you have any family traditions you would like incorporated into your ceremony.

How much notice do you need to schedule our wedding?

Ideally it is best to reserve your wedding date as early as possible to ensure I will be available for your special day. I have also performed a beautiful and meaningful wedding with only a week’s notice.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, $100.00 is requested to reserve your date, with the balance due at your rehearsal. The deposit will be deducted from your fee.

What do you charge for your ceremonies?

Pricing varies depending on the location, creating/writing your ceremony, the length and how involved your ceremony is.  Once we talk about your vision and expectations, we can settle on a price.  Please contact me for a free consultation.  .
